Working as part of a dynamic team you will initially be providing 1st line user support to the user environment as well as continual monitoring of systems. Working along side the existing IT team you will be responsible for call handling, resolution, escalation & follow up on outstanding incidents. This is a challenging position within a new environment. The right candidate will have the capabilities to move fast & enhance their technical & personal skills to progress quickly to providing 2nd level support. You will be providing support for an International business expanding globally, so English is a must. All incidents will be logged using a utility tool call Omnitracker & you will be required when asked to provide statistical reports.
- The candidate should have experience in a helpdesk / support environment
- Understand the basic parts of a PC and related peripherals
- MS Office & related applications
- IBM AS/400 support an advantage
- Network skills
- Be willing to learn & develop quickly
- Be dynamic
- Be flexible & willing to adjust to different client environments
- Good command of spoken & written English, Dutch and French
- German is an advantage
- Have excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Enjoy human contact
- Be able to follow up on incidents & be able to set priorities
- Be service minded and result oriented
- Like to work in a team
