Hello

22/01/2010

My name is Thierry Hermann, and I'm a Software Architect for CTG Luxembourg. It's my job to make sure that each software system we develop meets its purpose. To do this, I have to clearly understand the business needs, select appropriate technologies, and ensure correct implementation and technical documentation.

I’m working for CTG Luxembourg for almost 10 years. What particularly pleases me is the diversity of my missions. They led me to perform functions consistent with the goals CTG and I were determined as part of my career development. At CTG every employee defines its own career plan and is individually supported by its personal career developer who helps him to achieve its objectives. To move up one level the employee has to fill a set of technical and soft skills which are clearly defined. CTG cultivates values which are real, measurable and concrete and which define its attitude towards employees and customers. When an employee or a team reaping success, CTG know him to express its gratitude.

During my career at CTG I have worked on topics as diverse as software development, functional analysis and software architecture. Nowadays I’m working as a software architect and pre-sales consultant, a position that uses all the skills I have acquired over time.
