We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-oriented Multimedia Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert guidance and support to members of the European Parliament on the use of audiovisual equipment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with camera operations, advising on video production techniques, and ensuring the proper handling and functioning of multimedia tools. Key Responsibilities:
User Support and Training:
Provide hands-on demonstrations and guidance to users on the proper use of cameras and audiovisual equipment.
Assist members in setting up and operating video equipment for recording and live-streaming purposes.
Offer tailored advice to enhance video quality and production value.
Equipment Management:
Ensure that audiovisual equipment is maintained, functional, and available for use.
Track equipment rentals, returns, and condition to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to cameras, lighting, and other multimedia tools.
Documentation and Compliance:
Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and instructional materials to support users.
Document incidents, user feedback, and equipment usage for internal tracking and reporting.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and guidelines for audiovisual operations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other support staff to coordinate equipment availability and user scheduling.
Communicate effectively with team members to address technical challenges and share best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Profile:
Diploma or certification in multimedia, audiovisual technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in multimedia support, camera operations, or a similar role.
Proven ability to assist users with audiovisual equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining cameras, lighting, and other video production equipment.
Familiarity with basic video editing software and production workflows is a plus.
Fluency in both French and English is required.
