CTG IT Solutions is an IT Services Company dedicated to European Institutions. We are currently hiring an Oracle and WebLogic Expert, to join the multicultural team of a prestigious European Institution in Brussels.
Mission:
Install and configure Oracle on Linux systems (Red Hat).
Set up and manage Oracle data replication tools such as Data Guard and Oracle RAC (Real Application Cluster).
Manage database backups using RMAN and data exports.
Oversee the management of data files and transaction logs within the database.
Administer user accounts and schemas, including version management and applying schema update scripts.
Monitor and ensure optimal database and WebLogic server performance.
Stay updated with the latest Oracle developments, including upgrades from Oracle 19c.
Technologies Used:
Oracle 19c (with a focus on maintaining and upgrading).
Linux (Red Hat) – Experience with other Linux distributions is acceptable.
Profile Requirements:
Proven experience with Oracle database administration and WebLogic server management.
Strong knowledge of Linux system administration (preferably Red Hat).
Hands-on expertise with Oracle tools like Data Guard, RAC, and RMAN.
Ability to manage both the Linux infrastructure layer and the Oracle database dictionary layer.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Proactive and able to work independently or in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Oracle or Linux administration are a plus.
Experience with database optimization and troubleshooting.
